We spent the last few days in Paris and attended a mixing masterclass with multiple Grammy winner Chris Lord-Alge. For over 40 years he has been mixing many of the songs that we all know from the radio and the charts. In almost every decade he mixed some of the most influential records, for Grandmaster Flash to James Brown, Rolling Stones to Bruce Springsteen, Dave Matthews Band to Green Day, Paramore to Creed and many many more – the list is even too long for Wiki.
After seeing Andy Wallace (Nirvana, Rage Against the Machine, Linkin Park, Biffy Clyro) last year and Alan Parsons (Beatles, Pink Floyd, Pilot) a few years ago, seeing him work gave even more ideas of how to make your songs sound great.
